Phillip Cassou was previously a Strategic Account Manager at AT&T from 2008 to 2010 and prior to that held various positions at IBM from 1968 to 2008 including Industry Sector Executive and Area Executive, Houston Branch Manager and other marketing and management positions. Mr. Cassou received a Bachelor’s degree in 1968 in Electronics and Physics, a MBA degree in 1974, and a Juris Doctor in 1980, all from the University of San Francisco.
Allen Waugerman has served as Lexmark President and CEO since May 2019 and was appointed to the Lexmark Board of Directors in April 2023. Waugerman has been with Lexmark since its inception in 1991 and holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from the University of Kentucky.

Laura D’Andrea Tyson is a Distinguished Professor of the Graduate School, Director of the Institute for Business and Social Impact at the Berkeley Haas School of Business. She is also the chair of the Board of Trustees of the Blum Center for Developing Economies at the University of California, Berkeley. Dr. Tyson has a summa cum laude undergraduate degree from Smith College and a PhD in economics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
Mickey Kantor was formerly the United States Trade Representative and later the United States Secretary of Commerce. Mr. Kantor is currently a partner at international law firm Mayer Brown based in Washington DC. Mr. Kantor received a bachelor’s degree from Vanderbilt University in 1961. He then served four years as an officer in the US Navy, and subsequently earned a Juris Doctor from Georgetown University in 1968.
S. Shankar Sastry is currently the Dean of Engineering at University of California, Berkeley and the faculty director of the Blum Center for Developing Economies. From 2004 to 2007 he was the Director of CITRIS (Center for Information Technology in the Interests of Society) an interdisciplinary center spanning UC Berkeley, Davis, Merced and Santa Cruz. Dr. Sastry received his Ph.D. degree in 1981 from the University of California, Berkeley.
Steve Chu was formerly the United States Secretary of Energy from 2009 to 2013. Prior to his appointment as the Secretary of Energy, Dr. Chu was a professor of physics and molecular and cellular biology at the University of California Berkeley and the Director of the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory. Dr. Chu received both a Bachelor of Arts degree in mathematics and a Bachelor of Science degree in physics from the University of Rochester in 1970. He then earned his Ph.D. in physics from the University of California Berkeley in 1976.
