President and CEO
Allen Waugerman is Lexmark’s president and CEO. He was named to this position in May 2019. He was appointed to the Lexmark Board of Directors in April 2023.
Under Waugerman’s leadership, Lexmark has embarked on a long-term strategic vision to expand adjacencies beyond its historical focus on print, including the launch of a growing portfolio of industry-focused Internet of Things (IoT) solutions.
Previously, Waugerman was Lexmark’s senior vice president and chief technology officer, responsible for the company’s global research and development operations. In this role, Waugerman led the development of significant product expansions and enhancements for Lexmark’s traditional and OEM businesses.
Waugerman has been with Lexmark since its inception in 1991, holding various staff and management positions, including vice president and general manager of global supplies sales and marketing, and general manager of small workgroup laser products. He began his career with IBM in 1989.
He is a member of the Forbes Advisory Council, the Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland Business Advisory Council, the Dean’s Advisory Council for the University of Kentucky College of Engineering and the Centennial Chairman’s Circle of the United Way of the Bluegrass.
Waugerman holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from the University of Kentucky.
