Tonya Jackson is Lexmark’s senior vice president and chief people officer. She is responsible for the global strategy to maximize the potential of the company's workforce, focusing on talent development, strategic communication, and fostering an inclusive and diverse workplace. Her leadership ensures that Lexmark attracts, develops and retains top talent, aligning employee growth with the company's strategic goals.
Before assuming this role in May 2023, Jackson was senior vice president and chief product delivery offer. She was named to that expanded role in 2020 and was responsible for hardware and supplies development, supply chain, manufacturing and service delivery, after leading global supply chain operations since 2013.
Jackson has been with Lexmark since its inception in 1991. She has held various management roles, including vice president and general manager of worldwide supplies operations, director of experience design, director of technology services, and director of sustainability. She began her career with IBM, holding various engineering staff positions.
Jackson has a bachelor's degree in chemistry from Hampton University, a master's degree in chemistry from Vassar College, and a master’s degree in business administration from Ohio University.
She serves on the boards of the Blue Grass Airport and Hooker Furnishings, a publicly traded furniture company. She also holds a National Association of Corporate Directors (NACD) Directorship Certification and a CERT Certificate in Cyber-Risk Oversight.
