Since 1991, Lexmark has been able to incorporate more than 45,000 metric tons of recycled materials into the production of laser cartridges.

In support of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, we continue to prioritize maintaining efficient use of natural resources at our manufacturing, research and development, and office facilities worldwide.

We also work closely with our suppliers to ensure our products and services have a positive impact on people, communities and the environment.

Lexmark is committed to becoming carbon neutral across all our operations by 2035.

Lexmark has reduced Scope 1 and 2 GHG emissions 43% since 2015 and 67% since 2005. 

Since 2015, we’ve decreased our water consumption 40% and by 75% since 2005.

Lexmark has a goal of 50% average recycled content plastic in devices by 2025. Currently, the average is more than 39% for both hardware and cartridges.

As part of our focus on the circular economy, we offer sustainable services and programmes for recycling supplies and equipment. Not only do these efforts promote innovation and economic growth, but they help you print sustainably without compromising on quality.
