Supplies sustainability is in our DNA. For over 30 years, Lexmark has designed, manufactured and sold environmentally responsible supplies.
Environmental stewardship plays a central role in our supplies development process. We’re guided by the principles of zero waste and the circular economy. All our high-quality supplies are engineered for peak performance and outstanding sustainability. Following the sustainability hierarchy, our mantra is: Reduce, reuse, recycle.
Supplies usage contributes significantly to a printer’s total environmental footprint. Most customers replace their supplies many times during a printer’s lifetime. High-capacity, material efficient cartridges, like those Lexmark offers, are an easy way to improve your sustainability. You’ll use fewer cartridges and materials while you lower your per-page printing costs. It’s a win-win.
Lexmark offers some of the highest yield supplies in the industry. We’re proud to give customers a simple, effective way to reduce the eco-impact of printing. Lexmark Unison™ Toner produces the same great results in cartridges that are manufactured with either new or reprocessed components.
Lexmark’s Return Program provides customer choice as a key tenant of our overall supplies business offerings. We offer supplies in a wide variety of yields, price points and user agreement terms. Cartridges without Return Program terms are available for customers who want to reuse or recycle supplies on their own.
The Lexmark Cartridge Collection Program (LCCP) has a zero-landfill and incineration policy, and we stive to use the returned materials to their greatest environmental benefit. Using materials recovered through LCCP, we are the largest remanufacturer of Lexmark cartridges in the world.
Embracing the born-circular design approach, our latest supplies offerings reuse components recovered from products recovered primarily through LCCP, providing another way of closing the loop.
We’re not ones to rest on our laurels. Lexmark is always looking for ways to deliver high-quality consumables that are even better for the environment. Lexmark is an imaging industry leader for using supplies post-consumer recycled (PCR) plastic content by weight.
