QA Automation Engineer

Job Description/Responsibilities:

Collaborate with the existing QA members to set automation standards and best practices within the Orion team
Identify opportunities and drive the implementation of automation to improve service health, manageability, and reliability
Develop Automation Frameworks, evaluate toolsets, suggest application specific solutions
Perform Performance Testing using a variety of toolsets
Remain current on new technologies, methods and procedures including, but not limited to, coding practices such as Test-Driven Development, Continuous Integration, and Continuous Deployment
Provide technical leadership throughout the area
Effectively collaborate with peers and influence others
Qualification: BE/ME/MCA from a reputed institute with 5+ Years in IT Experience.

Must Have Skills:

Min. 5+ years of proven experience in Quality Assurance and Automation.
Experience with developing and implementing Testing Automation Frameworks
Experienced with both UI and API based testing automation
Experienced with automation strategies for unit testing
Experienced with CI/CD pipeline automation
Experienced with Selenium, Tosca, Postman, and other open-source automation tools
Experienced with Performance Testing tools like LoadRunner and JMeter
Software Engineering Experience.
Agile and Scrum experience.

Ability to understand REST/SOAP API, JSON, and XML formats – experience with API testing tools is a plus.
Knowledge of Web Application Testing, Performance Testing, Database Testing, Security Testing, Web Service Testing.
Experienced with test driven development
Regression test management
Mentoring members into analyzing application features, designing test scenarios/test cases that cover end-end functional testing, executing tests, defect logging and tracking to closure and preparing test summary reports.
