USER EXPERIENCE (UX) DESIGNER

Job Purpose/Mission/Summary

The User Experience (UX) team drives innovation through empathy, creative ideation, and cross-functional collaboration. As a UX designer, you will work within a global team to drive creative design solutions by understanding user needs, establishing usability requirements, conducting user research and validation, and communicating design recommendations to stakeholders.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Conduct user research to understand user behaviors, needs, and pain points and to gather actionable insights.
  • Translate research findings into use cases, scenarios, or user requirements to guide design decisions and align with business goals.
  • Create detailed designs, including wireframes, prototypes, and design documentations, to effectively communicate design concepts and interactions.
  • Communicate design concepts, research findings, and project updates effectively to stakeholders.
  • Manage user and stakeholder feedback and incorporate them into the design process while maintaining the integrity of user-centered design principles.
  • Establish strong relationships with stakeholders across different departments to understand their requirements and expectations.
  • Collaborate with designers, product owners, project managers, developers, and other stakeholders to generate innovative and creative solutions and align project goals, priorities, and schedules.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to other members of the UX team, creating a community of learning and fostering team growth and development.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering or a related field is preferred but other degrees will be considered.
  • Strong interest in the field of User Experience and Human Computer interaction.
  • Experience working with design tools like Figma, Adobe XD and Axure RP.
  • Experience in conducting user research and usability testing is an advantage.
  • Ability to think creatively and outside the box.
  • Attention to detail and ability to multi-task.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Passion for solving problems and continuous improvement.
