DIRECT SOURCING DATA ANALYST
Business Area: Hardware Manufacturing Ops, Design Center, and UX
Job Purpose/Mission/Summary:
Responsible in supporting the Global Sourcing organization with essential and critical information on the following areas:
Data governance and costed BOM Analysis
Experience in Product Lifecycle Management tool such as Enovia is a must
Knowledge of automation and dashboard tool Power Automate and Power BI is a must.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for maintaining and updating relevant information in the Data Governance tool used by the GS Direct Sourcing team.
- Create and generate scheduled reports on various Global Sourcing dashboards using Power BI.
- Support benchmarking activities by the Global Sourcing team.
- Ensure compliance with Corporate Purchasing Policy and Procedures.
- Report on a regular basis key performance metrics of its function.
- Understand business requirements in BI context and design data models to transform raw data into meaningful insights.
- Create dashboards and interactive visual reports using Power BI.
- Create relationships between data and develop tabular and other multidimensional data models.
- Chart creation and data documentation explaining algorithms, parameters, models, and relations.
- Design, develop, test, and deploy Power BI scripts and perform detailed analytics.
- Drive automation and predictive analytics use cases leveraging the Microsoft Power platforms or other related tools.
Competencies, Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:

Accounting System/Computer Application Skills:
- Knowledgeable in Product Life Cycle Management (ENOVIA) programs and applications.
- Knowledgeable in various automation tools such as Power Automate and Power BI.
- Able to execute intermediate excel functions and complex calculations spreadsheets in Excel.

Communication Skills:
- Communicates to deliver high quality and value-added recommendations based on accurate and objective interpretation of needs of the intended audience.
- Excellent communication skills will facilitate and initiate team and group discussions.
- Provides meaningful reporting to management in a timely and effective manner.
- Able to connect well with Global Sourcing stakeholders and influence them in both execution and improvements.
Education, Experience, and Certifications Basic Requirements:
- Has a degree in Engineering, or any equivalent.
- At least 2 years of experience analyzing data through Excel or other data analysis tools.
- Experience in Product Life Cycle Management application is a must.
