Job Summary

Lexmark is looking for an experienced security or technology professional who can lead a highly effective team, defining and executing strategy, and executing security operations spanning technologies across Lexmark.

This role is responsible in managing the day-to-day activities associated with all security-related issues at Lexmark and implements and enforces security controls, safeguards, policies, and procedures to ensure that risks posed by a variety of cyberthreats are eliminated or minimized. When cyberattacks occur or data are stolen or compromised, the SOC Manager ensures that these incidents are dealt with promptly and effectively and the chance of that incident recurring is eliminated or minimized.

What you will be doing:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive cybersecurity strategy aligned with business objectives, ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information assets.
  • Lead and oversee the day-to-day operations of the cybersecurity team, including monitoring security events, incident response, and vulnerability management.
  • Conduct regular risk assessments to identify and prioritize cybersecurity risks.
  • Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies and ensure ongoing risk monitoring.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to design, implement, and maintain robust security architectures for networks, systems, and applications.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive cybersecurity awareness program for employees, fostering a culture of security vigilance.
  • Develop and maintain an incident response plan, ensuring timely and effective response to cybersecurity incidents.
  • Conduct post-incident analysis and implement improvements based on lessons learned.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant cybersecurity standards, regulations, and industry best practices.
  • Coordinate and participate in cybersecurity audits.
  • Evaluate and manage the cybersecurity posture of third-party vendors and partners.

Must-have Qualifications:

  • Experience in vulnerability management, cloud security, and information security.
  • In-depth knowledge of cloud security best practices, vulnerability assessment tools, and security frameworks.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS (Amazon Web Services), Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in preparation of reports, dashboards, and documentation.
  • Ability to handle high pressure situations with key stakeholders.

Education, Experience & Certifications Basic Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
  • Minimum 5 years Information Technology, SW Development or Cybersecurity leadership with experience building long-term career development plans for team members at all levels.
  • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), or other relevant certifications.
