Lexmark International Inc. (Lexmark) is committed to compliance with the laws and regulations of each country into which the company ships our products. Lexmark products are designed and tested to meet the appropriate worldwide standards for Product Safety, Electromagnetic Compatibility, Environmental Sustainability and other compulsory regulatory requirements, when used for their intended purpose.
Lexmark products are designed and tested for their intended electromagnetic environment (residential or business/industrial environment). Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) is the ability of electronic equipment to function properly together in the electronic environment. While all Lexmark products have been designed and determined to be compliant with regulatory agency limits for EMC, there is no guarantee that interference will not occur in a particular installation.
The CE Declaration of Conformity (DoC) is Lexmark’s declaration that the product complies with all applicable CE marking Directives of the European Union. For most Lexmark products this includes the EMC Directive (2014/30/EU), the Low Voltage Directive (2014/35/EU), the Energy-Related Products Directive (2009/125/EC), the Restrictions on Hazardous Substances Directive (2011/65/EU) and for those products with radio options, the Radio Equipment Directive (RED) (2014/53/EU). A copy of the CE Declaration of Conformity for most Lexmark products is available on the European Union Declaration of Conformity page. To receive a copy of a declaration for a product not found on these pages, please send an e-mail to Regulatory@lexmark.com with the marketing name and model number for the relevant product(s) included in the body of the e-mail.
