The Lexmark Contact Authentication Device provides enhanced access to network printers and smart MFPs* with secure authentication based on card credentials. The device easily connects on the front of the printer or MFP to instantly provide a more secure environment for your business. Carefully engineered features enhance security and prevent unauthorised users from gaining access to sensitive information. Administrators can use the Lexmark Contact Authentication Device to manage access to an individual printer or MFP and authorise access to specific functions including email, fax, copy or scan. Plus, the device provides full compliance with most industry standards and works seamlessly with virtually every contact smart card. *Embedded solution and front USB port required to enable functionality.
